Mondays are always the slowest days for me. It takes so much to get back to the routine after a relaxed weekend.
Here is the card I made this on the weekend - love the yellows and the greens!

My fav things!

My day job has become a lil hectic in terms of work and the time I spend travelling to office everyday! Just like you cannot ignore your fav people no matter what..I just cant get away doing my fav stuff.
I made this card real quick for a close friends anniversary. Thats a bit of quilling and lot of patience!

I recently learnt how to watermark my images in photoshop! Looks so cool and professional.

Life is a box of chocolates!

...It reminds me of the movie "Forrest Gump" and the famous dialogue.

My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates.You never know what you're gonna get." :)

Here is a super 3 D card I made for the chocolaty challenge hosted by Creative Accents.

These are quilled chocolates...I am glad they came out super neat and they sure look so real! I feel so tempted :)

The world would be so beautiful if everything would be just the way we want it to be -
No one would ever say or do anything that another person finds offensive. Everyone knows exactly how others feels about every topic, every gesture or action we might take.
But the truth is that...there is no perfect world!

But yes, there is this perfect card to brighten up my not so bright mood.
I totally love the springy colours in this one.

Another thing that makes me smile is the calligraphy set my husband surprized me with. I cant wait to play with it!

Birthdays are special ~

I made this card for my brother-in-law's birthday. I am glad he liked it. :)
The pattern is pretty simple but the colour combination and the soft yellow ribbon makes it look so good!

 Never miss a chance to get pampered on your birthdays! I never do ;)

The sweetest thing !

Winters are almost gone for many , but for us..we still buried under chunks of snow! But the days are much brighter and longer :) The sun rays falling on the snow makes it look so much like white chocolate :D

Here is a card I made last week - the cupcake looks so tempting. This is the sweetest thing I ever made :)The cherry on the top and the glitters is what I loved the most.
I did this using a slotted quilling tool but for people who wish to try this out can start using a tooth pick and thin strips of any coloured paper.

I love surprizes ~

Yesterday I got a surprize from a friend of mine all the way from Atlanta. She sent me this super cool starry punch! I so much love it. Cool thing is that I get to use the punched out stars as well!
I need to get going with making a Thank you card for her - I plan to use the same punch on it !

I made this beautiful card on the weekend - I have so much fallen in love with quilling :)
I used glitters on the hearts, it doesnt show in the picture so well but it does make the card look brighter!

We are now in the month of February - that means it's almost Valentine's Day!
Sometimes you really cant express what you feel - thats where cards come handy! And nothing can beat the handmade ones. The love and care they show is priceless!
I did a couple of cards on the weekend with lots of hearts and bows - I totally loved it.

Recently I came across this website - http://1000awesomethings.com . It lists lil everyday things which bring a smile on our face - Finding money you didn’t even know you lost, When you can hear it raining, Popping Bubble Wrap and so on! Can you belive it - this guy won the best blog award! I am totally impressed!

This makes me think...We all get so busy worrying about others peoples lives that we tend to ignore the awesome things that happen in our lives everyday.
